Schedules are your Friend
If you have been following our blog lately, you should be at the point where you are starting to create content, and are hopefully having a great time doing so.
One thing that helps us stay on track is using post scheduling. This can allow you to create tons of content when you have a creative moment, and then schedule it out for the coming days / weeks / months. It helps to take some stress off your back, especially if you had some content go viral and your business is blowing up. The easiest thing to do is stop creating as much. We want to prevent that from happening.
This is where scheduling comes in, set up a time block or work flow where you can take an hour or two to schedule out all your posts for the coming time depending on what you need and desire. Here is a good example:
Our blog posts are written in advance, when we are feeling creative we log in, write out posts for the future and then we can just forget about it through a content scheduling program.
There are several out there, some are free, some are paid, but this will allow you to set it and forget it. You could schedule out your entire year of content (we have a year content videography package we offer, all you have to do is schedule it out), imagine, January 1st of every year you clear 1 day to schedule all your posts for the entire year to get that solid base, would that relieve a lot of stress? Would that allow you to focus on you business or future content without having to worry about a deadline? Because at that point anything you post would be a little extra bonus as your base layer is completely covered.
Scheduling content completely changed the game, as you know content compounds, so the more regular, more valuable, and more often you post content it actually scales the rest of your video because you get click through, you get SEO, and you get interaction from your clients, friends, and followers.
By scheduling you allow yourself the freedom to create more, and higher quality while building your audience and being able to take a step back and look at the analytics of posting, figuring out your personal algorithm will be worth its weight in gold.
As you schedule posts out, play with different times, maybe your audience watches your content at 2:37pm on average based on likes and interactions, now you know when to post your BEST content piece of the day / week / month. This is what a social media management company does, instead of paying someone else why not learn it yourself until you have the income to utilize the write off for hiring a marketing company. The better you know your customer the better you will perform.
